I began tattooing in the beginning of 2007, down in New Orleans. Fate brought me back to my home in Minnesota where I spent several years working in Saint Paul, at an amazing shop aptly named TrustFate Tattoo. I then set sails for Northeast MPLS where I resided for two years until I opened The Sea Wolf Tattoo Company. The Sea Wolf is my brainchild based on the notion that tattoo shops can still be artist owned and operated, and can cater to the tattoo savvy customers. I focus on tattooing with a strong American Traditional foundation, bold black lines with bright colors. Tattoos that look like tattoos. Thanks for looking!

Gorilla Tattoo

Lion Tattoo

I recently had the pleasure of putting this lion tattoo on Ryan’s forearm. This was a super fun tattoo to make, as it is mimics the look of the classic crawling panther tattoo, but with a golden lion. There’s something so powerful about the lion as a tatt…

Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing Tattoo

Pelle sub agnina latitat mens saepe lupina: Under a sheep’s skin often hides a wolfish mind. I recently had the pleasure of making this wolf in sheep’s clothing tattoo on Ben. This is a nice change of pace from all the other wolf tattoos I’ve made recentl…

Hey Ladies!

Here’s a couple lady face tattoos I’ve made recently. Besides snarly beasts and birds, human faces are probably my favorite subject matter for tattoo imagery. They’re really diverse in what you can work into the composition of the tattoo. What I’d really…

Eagle Tattoo!

Here is one of my favorite images for a chest tattoo, an eagle. This eagle tattoo is on a good friend of the shop, John. John is a MPLS firefighter and all around awesome dude. It’s surprising that after all these years I’ve only done a very small handful…

Pretty lady with a sharp dagger

Here’s a fun one I got to tattoo on Justin. I’m sure I’ve written many times over how much I love to tattoo lady faces and daggers, so you can imagine the joy that washed over my face when Justin came in with this idea. I tattooed this one quite some time…
