Filling Spaces

We did this wolf and rose to fill an awkward space and finish Jon’s forearm a couple weeks ago. Often when clients are filling spaces between tattoos, we struggle to figure out something shaped like the space, or don’t really end up truly filling in the gap that was there. I think doing something kind of wild like a morph, or a combination of imagery that together becomes surreal is a great solution to this problem. We were able to bend this image and add leaves and fur to fill any remaining gaps, and because the scale of the objects is distorted it fit with the scale of his existing tattoos. I would love to work on more projects like this, I really like drawing unusual combinations of imagery and morphs. Thanks again Jon!
